If you benefit from Deaf Vee Journal content and you have the financial capacity to donate, please do. We recently launched a Patreon subscription page, starting at just $5 each month, in attempt to balance between limited incomes in the community and our need for financial support to keep Deaf Vee Journal running. Our Patreon page address is www.patreon.com/deafvee.
Additionally, we can be found on CashApp ($DeafVee), PayPal (deafveejournal@gmail.com), and Venmo (@DeafVee).

Funding Policy
We at Deaf Vee Journal, as a hybrid media and research nonprofit organization, are dedicated to authentic coverage of the intersectional lived experiences and issues facing Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, hard of hearing, and late-deafened communities at large across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. We have established the following standards in acceptance of funding:
Deaf Vee Journal retains full authority over editorial content to protect the best journalistic and business interests of our organization. We will maintain a firewall between news/research coverage decisions and sources of all revenue.
While we may accept gifts, grants, and sponsorships from individuals and organizations for the general support of our operations, it is with the requirement our judgments on news/research coverage are made independently with no basis on financial support.
Acceptance of financial support does not constitute implied or actual endorsement of the donors or their products, services, or opinions.
Deaf Vee Journal may also consider donations to support the coverage of particular topics, but our organization maintains editorial control of the coverage. We will cede no right of review or influence of editorial content, nor of unauthorized distribution of editorial content.
Deaf Vee Journal will make public all sources who financially support us with gifts of $5,000 or more per year as individual members, major donors, foundations, and sponsors.
Deaf Vee Journal will avoid accepting charitable donations from anonymous sources or sponsorship opportunities who our Board of Directors deem would present as a conflict of interest with our work, our values, or compromise our independence.
For those who want to donate over $2,000 at one time (i.e., corporate sponsors or any sponsorship that is not an individual), a formal inquiry for payment options must be sent via e-mail to contact@deafvee.org.
