On June 27, 1880, Helen Keller was born. She is one of the most inspirational women in history. So inspirational, her birthday has been commemorated as Helen Keller Day in the United States state of Pennsylvania! This was done on the 100th anniversary of her birthday in 1980 by President Jimmy Carter. In honor of Helen Keller’s birthday today, this list was compiled to share some information about this community that many people may not know.
